It does. Trust me. ;) I used to LOATHE running, and now I love it! And while it's always a challenge, running a mile is nothing to me and it used to put me out of breath after a minute or so. Now I'm running 3 miles like that. :)
Um, I'm actually not quite sure. I'd say probably a few months before I was running good distances, but probably about a few weeks before I could run a mile comfortably without walking any of it.
