I just started this book yesterday and I'm loving it! It's about the author who moved to Japan just days after she and her husband were married. Her culture shock is hysterical! She has this bizarre love/hate relationship with her washing machine :D Japan sounds fantastic.

My friends father died on Saturday from lung cancer. Today was the wake. Rest in peace Beth's daddy :(

This is the place we stay in Galena, IL. It's called the Farmers' Guest House. They set up this INCREDIBLE Christmas village in the dining room for the holidays. This place is like my second home <3
