A Great Sadness....

I just found out that an old friend of mine passed away.  He was very young...my age.  His mother found him in his room.  Its just so sad.  I mean, we were friends, we worked together and partied together.  I haven't seen him in several years.  I wish I had known that would be the last time....

On the heels of that news, I found out that another friend from that same period of my life is dying.  He had 5 toes removed (gang green) and had a stroke, his left arm is paralyzed. They wanted to do a liver transplant, but he's not a candidate, because his pancreas and kidneys are shutting down. The doctor's don't know how long he has.

I am absolutely gutted right now....

How do you tell people how much they meant to you when its too late?
